Louise O'Connell is a BACP accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Accredited Energy Psychotherapist (ACEP) with coaching qualifications. Louise has over 11 years experience of in both NHS and private practice counselling and psychotherapy, plus16 years’ experience of specialist roles within oncology and palliative care nursing.
Louise has successfully built a flourishing private practice, which is generally booked at capacity. Louise created effective client contracts by understanding the client’s needs and working within an integrative approach, where emotional Freedom Technique EFT and other energy psychotherapeutic methods can be integrated whilst honouring client preference and pace.
Louise’s clients are adult individuals who wish to work on: depression, low mood, anxiety, stress, anger management, trauma, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, disordered eating patterns, bereavement, other personal losses, relationship difficulties, coping with change, clients who are in recovery from addiction.
Louise also supports clients who wish to work on personal development, understanding inner working models of attachments, or creating more motivation, fulfilment, and happiness in their lives.
