Michelle McGee is a trained integrative counsellor, attaining a distinction in her degree in 2017 from Ulster University.
Michelle is a fully accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She has been working in her local doctor’s surgery since graduating, began her private practice in 2018 and during this time working with corporate companies to support their employee’s wellbeing.

Michelle's background is in education, after completing a PGCE she worked as a secondary school teacher and as an assessor in third-level education. Teaching children with adverse childhood experiences or academically/socially struggling really motivated Michelle to train as a counsellor; to help support them and their families.
Michelle enjoys working with a wide range of issues, she doesn't have a particular area of special interest. Some of the areas Michelle works with include Loss, grief and bereavement; Anxiety; Depression; Body image, weight, size, self-image; Confidence Building; Sexuality; Relationship problems and childhood trauma. Michelle is open to working with the needs of the client in each session.
