Michelle McGee is a trained integrative counsellor, attaining a distinction in her degree in 2017 from Ulster University.

Michelle is a fully accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She has been working in her local doctor’s surgery since graduating, began her private practice in 2018 and during this time working with corporate companies to support their employee’s wellbeing.

In 2021 Michelle began working with online clients, either on the telephone or video calls, so she has much experience ensuring clients get the best experience even when they do not face to face.

Michelle's background is in education, after completing a PGCE she worked as a secondary school teacher and as an assessor in third-level education. Teaching children with adverse childhood experiences or academically/socially struggling really motivated Michelle to train as a counsellor; to help support them and their families.

I wanted to work with RTN because from meeting and talking to the team they are like a close family, the kind of family you just want to be part of!
