Stephen initially began training as a therapist, after signing up for a 12 week ‘Counselling Concepts’ course in 2006. Stephen is also a qualified, competent, Mindfulness Practitioner and Life Coach.
Stephen's work history has included working for several organizations including Liverpool Bereavement Service, Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), Bupa Healthcare and I currently work alongside the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), as a Lead Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant and Mental Health Specialist.
His real passion is supporting those who might otherwise go unheard and helping people/clients make sense of their emotions and psychological barriers. Stephen genuinely believes that he is only as good as the last client he has worked with, and this belief has not only kept him grounded in his practice, but also allowed Stephen to achieve his career goals of helping others.
