Toni Denton is a trained and qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP-she is currently studying at university to gain a top-up degree. Toni works as an integrative counsellor keeping person-centred counselling at the heart of her practice. Toni feels that a client has the ability to grow if the conditions are right. Her job is to help untangle what is going on and empower the client to decide ‘what next.

Toni works with a few EAP companies and she also works at Touchstone- which is a mental health charity. She works with a diverse caseload of clients- a lot of these clients have been turned away from mainstream services as they are seen as ‘too risky!’. Toni works together with clients to set goals to aim towards and helps them to achieve those goals.

I feel that my values align with RTN. I like how clients have a choice from the outset; as for me, this is where the counselling journey begins. The team that I have come into contact with so far seem warm and welcoming.
